Skirt Rubber Conveyor
Skirt Rubber (known as Side Skirting, Chute Sealing Rubber, Skirtboard rubber, K Skirt) is critical in preventing spillage at loading and transfer points and minimising dust escaping; it does this by sealing the chute. Take a look at the profile available in our range below.
What is skirt rubber used for?
High abrasion rubber skirts improve traction and extend the life of conveyor belts, making them an integral part of a conveyor system. We can offer a comprehensive range of flat skirts in a variety of widths and thicknesses ranging from 1mm to 25mm thick in materials such as EPDM, Neoprene, Nitrile, and Natural Shotblast rubber. In addition, we can manufacture rubber skirts which might be more appropriate in highly abrasive environments where more grip is required to keep the skirt on the side of the belt, such as in the Mining Industry.
