Rubber for the Automotive Industry

Our role in the automotive industry

The automotive industry is one of the most fast paced and changing sectors in the world. 66.7 million vehicles were sold globally in 2021, leading to global turnover of over £1.6 trillion. These companies are pioneers of innovation in their respected field and are essential in helping the masses get from A to B. This industry works in the short term, meaning new editions and concepts are being assembled and sold year in, year out.

The frequent turnaround is constant, so the need for supplies in a fast and orderly fashion is paramount. This is where we come in. Like the automotive industry, we pride ourselves on being lean and agile producing your products with rapid lead times.

We can assist you, whether you’re looking to test a new prototype or if you need an extrusion or gasket for your machinery or vehicles. Our high-quality and high-performance rubber components are just what you are looking for.

Why not give us a test drive and see for yourself?

AutomotiveRubber edge trim

Our edge trim seals can be used for various areas of your car. Seals are long-lasting but do need to be changed once they fail. Edge trim seals fail by splitting or cracking. They are mainly used for boots, bonnets, windows and door openings.

These products are hard wearing, waterproof and washable. Edge trim can clip onto wood metal, plastic and our easy to install, simply cut with scissors and push the internal lips to clip to the area you want to seal. Our edge trim is flexible and tough.

Did you know...?

It is a little-known fact that the first road-going Tesla used components that were supplied by us in 2008. Tesla began selling its first ever road car, the Tesla Roadster, an electric sports car utilising the Lotus Elise chassis. Over 2400 examples were sold between 2008 and 2012 and all these cars contain components supplied by our company. Lotus, as you may know, is based in our home county of Norfolk.
