Rubber Strip

Rubber Strips

We can offer over 50 different types of rubber strip. Available from a range of thicknesses and supplied in rolls or by the metre.

What is a Rubber Strip?

A rubber strip is a flat section of rubber commonly stripped from a roll and often used in applications like door seal strips and rubber edging. At Walker Rubber we can strip down the roll to your specific requirements. Simply provide us with your desired width and we’ll cut it in house either on our stripping machine or using our CNC equipment.

Types of Rubber Strips

Our stocked rubber compounds comprise: Foam, Sponge, Cork, Neoprene, EPDM, Nitrile, Silicone, Insertion, Food Quality FDA Approved, WRAS Approved, and Metal Detectable. For most applications, Neoprene strip is widely used due to its range of diverse properties including oil resistance, waterproof, light and fuel resistance, making Neoprene strip our customers’ most common choice.

In addition, we stock self-adhesive foams and sponge strips. Self-adhesive backing (SAB) isn’t commonly used with solid rubber, however, we can and sometimes do apply the SAB on request.

Most of our stocked solid rubber is in 70 shore hardness (with the exception of Silicone and Shotblast) and our Foams are available in different densities too.

At Walker Rubber we can provide you with strips in any size that you require. Our rolls come in 10-metre and 5-metre lengths depending on the thickness, however, if you require a slightly different sizing, then please get in touch with our sales team and we can provide you with an accurate quotation for using our CNC machine.
