Silicone Sheet is available in a wide range of sizes and thicknesses, take a look at our range below.
What is a Silicone Rubber sheet?
Silicone is a synthetic rubber sheet and is well known across the rubber industry for two of its main attributes: High temperature resistance and its food accreditation. This distinguishes the material apart from the others, making it a popular choice for use in food and pharmaceutical applications.
Silicone’s High-Temperature Resistance
Silicone stays flexible at low temperatures down to -80°C and is weather/UV resistant. It has low flammability and can deal with temperatures of up to 200°C intermittently. It is excellent with dealing with dry heat, however, shouldn’t be used with high-pressure steam.
Food Quality Silicone Sheet
Silicone is a food approved rubber that is an accredited grade for use in food-related manufacturing activities. It is frequently referred to as being FDA approved (the USA’s Food & Drug Administration). Due to its special formula, Silicone is non-marking it perfect for food-related applications. Also, it tends to be highly stable, water-resistant, odourless, tasteless and stable.
What do we have to offer?
In addition to supplying commercial Silicone Sheets, we also supply electrically conductive silicone sheet. This carbon-filled material acts as a low amperage conductor whilst offering protection against radio frequency, electromagnetic interference and electrostatic discharge. It’s also flame retardant too!
We stock a range of this material in different thicknesses all of which are 1.2 metres wide and can either be supplied by the linear metre or by the roll. Rolls are supplied in lengths of either 10 metres or 5 metres, depending on the thickness of the material.
Cut to size and stripped Silicone
We can supply Silicone sheets for you to cut down from the roll or you can benefit from our CNC cutting and stripping services. We can cut accurately and quickly with a ‘same day’ service in some circumstances if required.
